Rishi Sunak - Trolled brutally for spelling mistake in campaign banner---
After
Rishi Sunak's TV debate, various social media users pointed out that he was
sitting in front of a campaign sign where the word campaign was misspelt.
Rishi Sunak's first television debate as a Prime Minister candidate was not
bereft of trolling as public pointed out that the campaign spelling was wrong. It
was his first television debate to pitch for the next UK Prime Minister
post and he got roasted badly on Twitter and also on other social media platforms.
The roasting comes as Rishi Sunak remains deeply criticised for his tax moves
amid the pandemic while Akshata Murty (his wife), daughter of Infosys founder
Narayana Murthy, is believed to be wealthier than even the Queen. Akshata Murty's
tax evasion because of her non-dom status also earlier came on the radar.
Earlier,
on 8th July, Rishi Sunak formally announced his submission for the
Conservative leadership contest for the next Prime Minister post. Adding that
it is about time to rebuild the economy and reunite the country, he Twitted - "I'm
standing to be the next leader of the Conservative Party and your Prime
Minister". This comes after British PM, Boris Johnson stepped down as
Prime Minister on Thursday following the mass resignation of his Cabinet
members over the fresh scandal involving former deputy chief whip Christopher
Pincher.
Rishi Sunak responds to the trolls after being taunted for wrong spelling---
Apart from Rishi Sunak, Former equalities minister Kemi
Badenoch,British foreign minister Liz Truss, chair of parliament's Foreign
Affairs Committee om Tugendhat, Penny Mordaunt taken part in the 90-minute
debate and clashed over tax and trustworthiness. Rishi Sunak has topped the
first two rounds of voting by Tory Member of Parliaments.
According to reports, caretaker Prime Minister Boris Johnson has told his associates to back
anyone but Rishi Sunak. Johnson who appears keen on Liz Truss and Penny
Mordaunt, is believed to have held talks with failed candidates to succeed him.
