"Laal Singh Chhaddha" is an adaptation from the Hollywood classic 'ForrestGump'. Aamir Khan is getting ready for the launch of his ambitious production "Laal Singh Chaddha" that will be released in theaters on August 11 2022. Laal Singh Chaddha is said to actually be an official remake 1994's American film Forrest Gump which itself is the basis for Winston Groom's novel with the same title. The film stars are Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Chaitanya, and Mona. The film is a comedy-drama written by Advait Chandan, of Secret Superstar fame and the screenplay written from Eric Roth and adapted by Atul Kulkarni.
NEW Delhi: Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan waiting to see an announcement on her forthcoming film "Laal Singh Chaddha is reacting to those who are calling for boycotts of this film. This is after Aamir Khan appealed to the internet's users to be cautious and not go to cinemas. But, Kareena, on the other hand, states that she doesn't take a stance on such negative comments because it will not allow her to live her life peacefully.
The actress spoke with India Today about the 'Boycott Laal
Singh Chaddha trend. She said, "There are different platforms. Everyone
has an opinion. So now, if that is going to be there, then you have to learn to
overlook certain things. Else, it will just become unbearable to live your
life. And that's why I don't take any of this like very seriously,” Kareena
declared.
The actress also stated that if the film is of high quality, then the reaction will be positive and will be better than anything else.

Chaddha, the film caused controversy after "#BoycottLaalSinghChaddha"
started trending on Twitter. Apparently, some users on Twitter went through the
archives and excavated up Aamir Khan’s controversial 'India's growing
intolerance' statement and circulated it on the micro-blogging site.
According to a major newspaper report in which he was asked
if campaign against his films an impact on him, Aamir said that it causes him
to feel sad. The actor said "Yes I feel sad. Additionally, I feel sad
that some people who say that in their hearts believe that I'm someone who
doesn't like India. Within their heart they believe it, but it's not true. It's
quite unfortunate that some people feel this in that way.
